Another member of our community engagement team, Nathasha Lim, left TBD this week.
Nathasha will be a morning producer for WAMU, joining TBD colleagues Rebecca A. Cooper and Elahe Izadi, both of whom also found jobs with WAMU.
As community host, Nathasha recruited dozens of dining blogs to the TBD Community Network and wrote our @TBDRestaurants blog. (I’ll confess that I avoided the blog some days, because Nathasha’s engaging writing about food made me hungry, and I really should be trying to lose weight. However, my will power isn’t that strong, so I didn’t avoid it that often.)Nathasha was a great fit for the mix of television and online worlds where TBD operates. She’s a television veteran who worked well both behind and in front of the camera, in producing video for our site and weekly dining segments for our cable TV partner.
Like her colleagues on our team, Nathasha is multi-skilled. She excelled at writing her blog, leading a live chat, shooting video, aggregating content from our blog network and using social media. And tasting popcorn.
Nathasha helped make our community engagement team special and she will do the same for WAMU.
We will be toasting Nathasha after work today, though she wrapped up work Thursday. Also leaving TBD today are reporters Dave Jamieson, Kevin Robillard and Ryan Kearney. They also made great contributions to TBD and will flourish at their next jobs.
