Latest praise (“highly recommended reading”) for the Blueprint for a Complete Community Connection comes from Martin Langeveld at the Nieman Journalism Lab. Newspaper Death Watch says we’re “shaking up the traditional newspaper model.” And Gazette colleague Jason Kristufek asks, “What part are you going to take ownership of?”
Previous praise for C3 came from Michele McLellan, Robert Ivan, Mark Potts and Mark Briggs. Thanks to all.

I just received a boost from an email from Dean Miller, a visionary editor who recently lost his job.
His email cited the story of British Explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton and the power of optimism and action that saved his shipwrecked mission to explore Antarctica. I will not try to condense Miller’s observations, just urge you to read them yourselves and share the central lesson: “You can’t control circumstance, only your reaction to it.”
